Message: To Fran's family.....I only just heard about Fran's death and was very sad to hear the news. I got to know Fran back in the 80's when she and I were both very active in pro-choice activities. Over the years since then we would run into each other every once in awhile and I was always amazed at how great she looked and how active she was, even as she got older. I enjoyed her stories about her life and her kids and grandkids, and I grieved with her when she lost her son. She was a great role model for me, and I want to extend my sincere sympathies to her family. Unfortunately, due to a family situation I am unable to attend her memorial service today. kathywise@ma.com
