She graduated from Olympia High School in 1972 and attended Tacoma General Hospital School Of Nursing from 1972 - 1975 then working at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Survived by husband of 24 years William Batten and children Kari and William Jr., sisters Barbara Moore, Joan Banker-Tate and Alice Jackson. Preceeded in death by parents Arlene and Harry Banker. She enjoyed skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and traveling. Cause of death was breast cancer metastiszed to the spinal canal. Dontations can be made to Susan G.
