Visitation Information: Obituary: Mary C. Carpenter, 85, a 53 year resident of Capitol City Golf Course, passed away of natural causes on February 10, 2010. Mary was born August 3, 1924 in Proctor, Vermont, and on March 3, 1941 married Clyde J. Carpenter in Toldeo, Ohio. She also resided for a time in Flint, Michigan before moving to the Tumwater-Olympia Area. She was the owner of Southgate Shopping Center.Mary enjoyed golf, sewing, painting, reading, knitting, and playing Pinochele. She was also a member of the Capitol City Ladies Club.Surviving Mary are her children, Gail Richards, Julie Replogle; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Keeler.
