RICHARD WADE CLARDY, JR
Richard Wade Clardy, Jr., 70 died Sunday, April 11, 2010. He was a 2 ½ year resident of Seabeck, WA. His former home for 20 years was the Logan family farm at Oakville, Washington.
Wade was born December 5, 1939 in Halifax County, Virginia to Nannie and Richard Clardy.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Evelyn. Sons and daughters are Steven Clardy, Kevin Clardy, Michael Clardy, Becky Clardy and Tina Johnson. Stepchildren are Robert Hollandsworth, Donald Augon, Diana Martinez, Joyce Strote and Sam Stone. He has 21 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of whom he loved dearly. Sisters include June Vaughn, Sally Tuck and one brother, Charles Clardy. Wade is preceded in death by his sister Faye and son Shawn.
Wade was an avid reader and enjoyed square dancing, riding his motorcycle and playing with his grandchildren.
A celebration of Wade’s life was held at Funeral Alternatives in Tumwater, Washington.
