Visitation Information: Obituary: Ada Robin Blanke (nee Weiner) was born July 7, 1928 in Chicago. She passed away April 19, 2010 at age 81 in Palm Beach, Florida.She is finally free of a lifetime of debilitating illnesses of over 63 years. A real trooper, she always put on a cheerful demeanor, trying not to show her pain.Her husband of 60 years, Donald, loved her from the day they met 64 years ago at the University of Illinois.Ada attended Marshall High School in Chicago in 1946 and eventually went into long distance communications.She is survived by her spouse Donald, sons Dr. Scott Blanke of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Richard A. Blanke of Renton, Washington, and Dr. Charles Blanke of Vancouver, British Columbia, and four grandchildren.Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to charities of your choice.She will be laid to rest in Washington state.You may leave memories and condolences by clicking "View Guestbook" below.
