Obituary: 


Pamela Susan Derkacht was born March 23, 1964, in Pasadena, California. She passed from this life on July 11th at her home in Tenino Washington with her family by her side. She completed her public education in Pacific County and graduated with her BA degree from Evergreen State College. She was a Washington State employee for 20 years during which time she worked with the Attorney General Office, L & I, and Department of Printing. She recently accepted her dream job as Vice President of Managed Print Services with Denali Advanced Integration.

In 1989 Pam met her husband Doug, and they were married the following year in Las Vegas. Their son Mason was born in 1997. Pam had a passion for gardening, cooking, sewing, traveling, animals, and spending time with family. She was the eldest in her family of four sisters and one brother. She was a person of strength, integrity and unwavering faith. She is survived by her husband Doug, their thirteen year old son Mason, sisters Mary Seiler, Jennifer Hagen and Joice Hagen; mother Amy Riach, father Robert Bowyer and grandmother Mary Bowyer.

Service will be held at Mountain View Church of the Nazarene in Tumwater on Monday, July 19th at 11am.

Memorial donations may be made to the Benefit of Mason Derkacht at the Washington State Employees Credit Union.
