Obituary: 


Everett Burkhart, 74, of Tumwater, died July 24, 2010 due to lung cancer. He was born August 25, 1935 in Eagle River, Wisconsin to Everett and Ethel Burkhart.

On December 31, 1962, Everett married Nancy Willows, who survives. From December 1951 to March 1962 he was in the Navy. Everett worked as a Steam Plant Engineer. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Including his wife, Nancy, of Tumwater, Everett is survived by three sons, Gene of Tuscon, Arizona, Tim of Tumwater, and Tom of Baldwin City, Kansas; four daughters, Teresa Burkhart of Lacey, Anita Sage of Shelton, Tracy Burkhart of Baldwin City, KS, and Aleta Burkhart of Lacey; four brothers, Ed of Elma, Ervin (Pat) of Rochester, Clayton (Linda) of Tumwater, and Chet (Sue) of Rochester; brother-in-law, Chuck Willows of Tumwater; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Everett is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cliff; son-in-law, Dave Sage, and son, Alan R. Burkhart.
