Obituary:
BRIAN REED ASHBY
Brian Ashby, 52, of Olympia, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Mr. Ashby was born April 28, 1955 in Payson, Utah to Marvin and Carol (Reynolds) Ashby. He graduated from Orem High School in 1973. He later took several college classes at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, City College of Chicago and Central Texas College. On May 5th 1983 in Junction City, Kansas Brian married Pu Yong Lee, who survives.
Brian served in the US Army from 1974 to 1994 in Korea, Germany and Kansas. While in the Army, he served in the Military Police. After his retirement from the Army and for the last 10 years he has been a police dispatcher at Evergreen State College. For the last 12 years, he and his family have lived in the Lacey area.
He is survived by his wife Pu Yong and daughters, April and Carolyn all of the family home; one brother Kent Marvin Ashby of Utah and one sister, De Ann Riggs also of Utah.
