Terry Joe Ayres, Sr.

Terry Joe Ayres, Sr., 49, of Olympia, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Terry was born October 31, 1958 in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky to James and Cherry (Latham) Ayres. He had previously lived in San Bernardino, California. He also lived in Rochester and Centralia off and on and also lived in Silver Creek where he owned his own home for several years before moving to Olympia in 2004.

Terry collected postage stamps and antiques. He loved to wheel and deal, buying fixer uppers and selling them doubling his money. On April 29, 2006 he married Annette Dodd who survives. He was a grateful member of the Calvary Chapel in West Olympia.

Survivors in addition to his wife Annette, include four sons, Terry Joe Ayres Jr., Randy Wayne Ayres, James Brewer and Cameron Tyler Ayres; three step-daughters, Ashley Mitchell, Jennifer L. Brantner and Elaina M. Brantner; three brothers, Gary Ayres, Glenn Ayres and Teddy Ayres; two sisters, Regina Pruett and Vickie Phillips. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Calvary Chapel, 919 Division Street NW, Olympia, WA 98502.
