Clair
Ferris
is a second generation
funeral director following in his father's footsteps. He is a
licensed funeral director/embalmer in both
Washington
and
Oregon.
He also holds a current insurance agent license to help families
with their funeral pre-arrangements. Clair has
served on the boards of both the Oregon Funeral Directors
Association and the Washington Interment Association. He has
extensive background in both cemetery and funeral home operations.
Clair held several management positions with the Loewen/Alderwoods
Groups (Mills & Mills corporate owners)
before starting Funeral Alternatives of Washington. Clair is a
member of the Elks Lodge, Tumwater Area Chamber of Commerce and Senior Action
Network as well as President of the Olympia Capital Centennial Rotary Club.

Sharon
Ferris has been
involved with funeral service for over 30 years between her motherly
duties of raising five children. She was a part of the family
funeral business in
Medford,
Oregon. After moving to
Olympia
in 1989
Sharon
assisted families with their
pre-need funeral and cemetery plans.
Sharon
currently is the office manager
for Funeral Alternatives along with her funeral directing duties.
Sharon is a past board member of the Tumwater Area Chamber of
Commerce and is currently a member of the Tumwater Rotary Club, the
Senior Action Network, and Tumwater Area Chamber of Commerce. She also
sings with the Olympia Choral Society.

Jack McIntyre
has been a business owner and member of the community for many
years. He moved to the Olympia
area to be near family after serving 13 years in the U. S. Military.
Joining the Funeral Alternatives family in the spring of 2003, he
formerly worked for 5 years as a Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer and office manager at Woodlawn-Forest Funeral Homes of
Olympia and Shelton. In addition to his Funeral Director duties he is a licensed
insurance agent in the State of Washington
and is ready to help you with your pre-planning needs. Jack is
member of the American Legion.
