Toni Christina Warren

Toni Christina Warren, born Sept. 29, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away on Oct. 28, 2009.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Littlefield of Yelm and Michelle Washington of Dupont; stepdaughters Gina Hess of Portland and Sally Englar of Lacey; stepson Tony Greco of Aberdeen; 24 grandchildren and the many, many friends and family who will miss her.

Toni is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Warren; father, Anthony Christina; mother, Phyllis Christina; and her twin sister, Penny Brewton.

Toni attended Clover Park High School. She spent many years as a lab employee at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tacoma, and she most recently worked as a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty in Olympia. She also spent many years working for the STARS program at the Olympia Senior Center where her love for the seniors was apparent in her constant dedication. She loved reading, painting, and teaching Primary in the Lacey 5th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Toni will be remembered most for her unconditional love for the people around her. She took joy from being with her family, and to her “family” was a very wide circle. Though she didn’t have much, she would gladly have given anything for her family. Her example of faith in Jesus Christ will be a source of comfort and strength for her family in the years to come. She never wavered in her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and she knew that in death she would be reunited with her loved ones, most especially her daughter Kim, who she missed very much.

Message: Toni, was my best friend. I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Toni for 35 years, hard to believe, it seems like just a few years. I worked with Toni, in Michigan at the Grand Blanc Conevalescent Center. We went on vacation together with Kim, Jen, and Michelle to Utha to visit her parents, Las Vegas to see my cousins, then to CA to visit her Grandma, this was the summer of 1977. Toni, was always there for me, she has talked me through many trying times. The loss of my in-laws, my parents, and my husband, the motor vehicle accidents of my daughter, and son. We were always just a phone call away from one another. As I read each an everyones messages here, I am reminded of the very special person Toni, was to everyone. Jen, I really understand how you still want to call her just to talk, me too. May Toni's, family and friends all be blessed in your time of loss. I miss my friend so very much. God Bless, you are in my prayers daily. Love Barb Fahr
