Hilda A. Carsten, 70, of Olympia, WA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 23.

Mom was born in Norway in 1939 and came to America as an au pair in 1960. She married the love of her life, our dad Ron in 1964. Our parents were fun loving and genuine people that were unforgettable to anyone who met them. Our mother had an amazing sense of humor and a clever wit. Our fondest memories are laughing at her zaniness which she never ceased to express. She was a devoted and adoring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed; we all loved her very much. We take great comfort in knowing she is now at peace and has gone to rest with our dad. We know together they are watching over us.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tanya and Samantha and her two granddaughters Arielle and MacKenzie.
