Birth: 8/24/1938

Dennis Wheeler passed away on April 3, 2012 at his home in Oakville, Washington. He was 73 years old. Dennis was born August 24, 1938 to Leonard and Frances Wheeler in Lynch, Nebraska.

After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy where he was honored as a war hero. He later married the love of his life, Joanne Charlene Burke. Professionally, he was a transportation maintenance supervisor for the public school system.

Dennis was a hard worker and well respected by all those he met. He had a great sense of humor, and loved spending time with his family.

He was a beloved husband, father of eight, grandfather and great grandfather to many, all of whom will miss him greatly and remember him with love.
