I just heard of Jeff’s passing. My sincere condolences to all of the family. Fondest memories are in Rochester when my brothers and I used to play catch in the field behind your home (and ours) back in the Grand Mound days. I had an opportunity to see his exceptional and beautiful cabinetry work. He was truly a master at his trade. My current son in law is too a volunteer fireman here in Midland, TX. Jeff will truly be missed.

  8. Rosemary Warren & Lola (my blk. lab) says:

A man among men. A true example of a great human being.
I feel honored to have known him, even though it was for a short time. I rented the spare bedroom in his Lacey home. Everyday for 2 1/2 months I saw the pain and frustration in trying to find a little relief and help. That was three years ago.
Now, my friend, the pain and frustration is gone.
May you rest in peace in a place far better than this.

Don, Judy, Benita, Rod, Davina and families, we were so very sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. We have such great memories of Jeff and one that stands out is when he built a dog house for Murphy. We were so impressed, we had Jeff help us build one for our dog when we lived in Lacey. He took great pride in the work he did and had such exceptional woodworking skills. His smile, great attitude, friendliness and laughter are the qualities that we will always remember. Know that we are here for you if you need anything. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We were shocked and saddened to hear about Jeff’s sudden passing. Don and Judy, our hearts go out to you and your family. Our memories of Jeff are of a guy who was warm, generous, friendly and FUNNY. With Jeff you were only a stranger for about 5 seconds. After that you were on his long list of friends. To this day our son tells people about his amazing 21st birthday trip to Reno (he’s 35 now), Jeff was a big part of making that trip so memorable. Rest in peace Jeff and thanks for the memories.
